Say hello to the human
Meet your dog’s new best friend.
Hello, I’m Kiera, and I look after dogs in Basingstoke. I take it very seriously. The cuddles, anyway. The rest I just take sensibly.
Every dog gets treated as the individual they are: their routine, their quirks, their very specific opinions about the hoover. I’d rather do things properly than quickly, and I’ll always tell you honestly how it’s going (with photos, because I know you’ll want them).
Come and say hello first. Bring the dog. Biscuits are encouraged (for the dog).
What we do
Which way to walkies?
Pick a sign and have a nose. Big adventures, little paws, lots of love, whichever way your dog likes to spend their days.
Sofa snuggles, supervised.
Dog sitting
More than a quick hello: company for your dog for a good stretch of the day. Meals, walks and medication all carry on as normal. There’s just a new best mate in charge.
- Dogs who’d rather be on a sofa than in kennels
- Long days out when a quick visit won’t do
- Dogs with very firm opinions about routine
Dogs’ eye view
A day in the life…
Just an example! Every dog’s routine is different, so yours will be tailored to them.
08:30
The morning sniffari
Breakfast, a loo break and a nose-first stroll to catch up on the overnight news.
10:00
Adventures & walkies
Out and about at your dog’s pace. Fields, footpaths and the odd puddle (unavoidable).
12:30
Lunch & a little snooze
Lunch, fresh water, a cuddle and the sacred post-lunch nap. Do not disturb.
15:00
More exploring
Round two: more sniffing, a bit of play and, if we’re lucky, a stick of great importance.
18:00
Dinner, cuddles & winding down
Tea, a towel-off if needed, an update for the humans and a proper settle for the evening.

The happy dogs club.
Very important dogs. Very serious cuddles. Here’s the noticeboard for the regulars, and for the friends we haven’t met yet.
Peace of mind, included
Safe hands. Happy dogs.
Handing over your dog is a big deal. Here’s how we make it feel like a small one: no surprises, no guesswork, and a plan for everything.
We’ll only ever tell you things we can back up. Book a meet & greet and ask us anything.
What to expect
Individual attention
Your dog is a someone, not a headcount. We learn their name, their quirks and their favourite spot on the sofa.
Updates & photos
You’ll hear how it’s going, with photos, so you can stop wondering whether they’ve noticed you’ve gone. How often is up to you.
Their routine, not ours
Meals, walks, treats, medication, bedtime. We follow what you already do, because your dog already knows it.
Meet & greet first
Before any booking, we all meet: you, your dog and Kiera. Routines, quirks and worries get talked through, and your dog gets a vote.
Insurance & qualifications
We’ll list any insurance cover and qualifications here once they’ve been properly verified. Until then, we won’t claim anything we can’t prove.
Details to follow once verifiedA plan for emergencies
Before we start, we agree emergency contacts, your vet’s details and what happens 'just in case'. Hopefully nobody ever needs it.
